I started my career at Google in 2002, initially reviewing ads and keywords for policy compliance. Within months, I was training new reps on Google Ads policies, and soon moved into high-touch customer service, helping clients troubleshoot complex account issues.
Around that time, I joined two colleagues who were forming Google’s first optimization team—a function that didn’t even exist yet. We recognized that many high-spend accounts were underperforming and began providing hands-on optimization services to Google’s largest clients. As Google Ads evolved, we developed and tested strategies that became industry standards, many of which are still widely used by PPC experts today.
That foundation gave me an insider’s perspective on how Google Ads works, how the algorithm prioritizes campaigns, and what moves the needle for performance. Today, I bring that same strategic approach to businesses of all sizes, helping them get more from their advertising.
